Directions, Transport and Travel To and From Bournemouth University
(Bournemouth, Dorset, England)

Bournemouth is easily accessible from many parts of England, including London, Poole, Southampton and Portsmouth.

Travel by Air

Students arriving by air often land at Gatwick Airport in East Sussex, London. Bournemouth has its own airport, but it has limited services to some cities.

If you are driving from Gatwick, take the M3 from London to Southampton, and turn onto the M27 westward. This will take you through the New Forest onto the A31. Take the A338, not far from Ringwood, and head southwards into Bournemouth. The A338 leads from the north, so those from Salisbury can take the same road. From Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, take the A35 and turn onto the A31, following the same route to the A338.
