School of Conservation Studies


The School of Conservation Studies is divided into three departments: Archaeology and Heritage, Environmental and Geographical Sciences, and Forensic and Bioarchaeological Sciences. Its courses include field and marine archaeology, environmental protection, and forensic and crime sciences. The Business School offers courses in accounting, business, e-business, economics, and finance. In the postgraduate level, generic courses may be paired with a specialisation track, such as human resources management or enterprise and consultancy.

The Institute of Health and Community Sciences provides instruction in medical and related fields, such as nursing, midwifery, and occupational therapy. The Bournemouth Law School specialises in European and trade laws, intellectual property, and corporate governance, while the Bournemouth Media School offers courses in film, journalism, radio and TV production, and animation.
